Then I Met You is a sensorial Korean skincare brand that seeks to cultivate deeper connections between people and their skincare rituals. For their Sephora debut, we wanted to generate excitement on social media by highlighting their award-winning product, the Living Cleansing Balm. I designed printed newspapers using bold colors and texture-rich images to capture the product’s sensorial qualities. This content was trending on Instagram and a lot of brands were doing something similar, so I wanted to make sure ours stood out. I made the type easier to read on video and switched from our light periwinkle to a darker, more mature blue so the quotes would pop.
